What you'll find here

Why I started this?
I’m a mom who lost her son to fentanyl three years ago. That’s the hole I live with.
This site? It’s Grief Hacks because I’m hacking my way through the emptiness. No platitudes, just what works—or might. I’m not your guru; I’m just surviving. Maybe you are too. Stick around if you want.

A Story Shared..
Sharing does matter. To hear that you are not alone by reading anther’s story, and then finding courage to share yours.

1-1 Support..
Sometimes you prefer one to one, I get it. Let’s schedule a call. I will meet you where you’re at, I can listen.
Welcome to GriefHacks. I’m Momma R, and I created this space out of my own journey through grief—a path I know can feel overwhelming, isolating, and deeply personal. After losing my dear son, Ty, when he was 19 years old, I found myself searching for understanding, comfort, and a way to honour the time I had with my boy.
Through that process, I discovered the power of connection—whether through shared stories, quiet reflection, or simply knowing we’re not alone in our pain. That’s why I’m here: to offer you a safe place where your grief is seen, heard, and respected. I’m not a stranger to the sleepless nights, the unexpected tears, or the moments of light that slowly begin to break through. My hope is that this website becomes a companion for you, wherever you are in your journey.
As an IT professional, I feel empowered with the tools I get to work with and have helped me to get creative with my grief.
This space is for you—to explore, to remember, and to heal at your own pace. Thank you for being here.
